What’s in Your Bar?

What our faves are sipping on this holiday season!

“Gin. My go-to is The Botanist. Why? Have you smelled or tasted gin? Fragrant and delicious. I haven’t met a gin-based drink I didn’t like. Gin fizzes, gin sours, gin and soda and the classic gin martini…dry, three olives. I want to do something “festive looking” for Christmas however, so my cocktail will be inspired by the Battle of Dragons cocktail by @thetipsyfrenchie. Her cocktail features gin, dragonfruit, lime juice, elderflower liqueur, simple syrup and 1 egg white. I’ll switch the dragonfruit out for some sorrel and see where that takes me!”

“Plantation’s Stiggins’ Pineapple Rum will definitely be joining me for Christmas lunch this year. What I love most about it is that it gives what it’s supposed to give while being fancy. It’s a sipping rum, so while you enjoy all the traditional flavours of an excellent Bajan rum, the quality and the powerful pineapple influence are befitting of Christmas celebrations. It’s perfect!”

“An excellent drink to me is an Ambrosia experience beyond the norm.  Around Xmas, I have to have a bottle of Plantation XO or a premium aged rum and Kola Tonic to go well with a soft not so rummy, great cake.”
